Infinity

Infinity Diamond Bible

Creation began with the words, “Let there be light,” from which everything followed, described by scientists as the “big bang”. The stunning artwork in the Infinity Diamond Bible integrates the duality of a powerful singular point at its center and the endless flow of light in its outer circles. A diamond’s formation parallels the creation of the world – the creation of “something from nothing”. Diamonds hint at the supernatural connection between science and the Torah.

The 88 diamonds on the cover of the Infinity Diamond Bible form the infinity symbol, a figure eight. The lower ring represents our current, physical world, while the upper ring represents the Olam Haba, the World to Come.

Spiritually, eight represents the level beyond nature. Eight is one more than the seven days in a week, colors of the rainbow, and musical notes. A brit milah takes place on the eighth day to symbolize our eternal spiritual covenant with God. The Infinity Diamond Bible reminds us that the light of creation and the messages of the Torah go far beyond what we can see.

“In diamonds, I see waves of light going back and forth in an infinite loop,” Yaron Shmerkin, designer of the Infinity Diamond Bible.
